International Specialist Eye Centre or ISEC in short, is Singapore and Malaysia’s comprehensive private tertiary eye centre, as well as ambulatory surgical centre that offers comprehensive and subspecialty ophthalmology in service, teaching and research. In addition to providing clinical expertise in almost every eye disease and vision disorder, we are dedicated to advancing and disseminating ophthalmic knowledge through meaningful health education and innovative vision research.

INTRODUCTION
International Specialist Eye Centre (ISEC) in Singapore and Malaysia, are centers of excellence in ophthalmology, specifically in clinical care, teaching, and research, and now also open in Myanmar.
We strive to provide high quality, compassionate, world-class eyecare at an affordable level to the local and regional community.
ISEC provides a full range of tertiary specialty services, ranging from sophisticated laser eye surgery (LASIK), to the most complex vitreoretinal, orbital reconstruction and complex corneal transplantation surgeries.
Our clinical decisions are made based on the patient’s interests and contemporary evidence-based medicine. The clinical judgment of our team of subspecialty trained and comprehensive ophthalmologists are influenced by well established clinical guidelines and extensive experiences in the specialty.
Practice Profile
The vision of establishing a world-class facility in eye care, particularly in subspecialty ophthalmology has its roots in 2000 when a group of highly trained colleagues from within the profession sought to build a center of excellence in eye care delivery.
The strength of ISEC is in its ophthalmologists. Our eye surgeons hold impressive credentials, are generally regarded as key opinion leaders in their field. They had held consulting positions at prominent local teaching university hospitals, and are among the leading eye surgeons in the country. Our fellowship-trained eye surgeons possess the necessary training and clinical experiences with previous clinical appointments from renowned eye centers in Singapore, India, Australia, United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States.
Today, ISEC serves more than 50,000 patient consultations and performs more than 5000 major eye operations annually. A large number of our patients traveled far afield to seek consultation and services from our team of highly trained eye doctors.
Business of ISEC Myanmar
The principal business of ISEC Myanmar will be to operate and administer Ophthalmology centres providing medical consultations and services in Myanmar (“Centres”), beginning with establishing Centres in Yangon during the initial phase of the Joint Venture.
Pursuant to the JVA, ISEC Myanmar will apply for all requisite approvals, licenses, and permits required for the establishment, maintenance, and operation of its businesses as soon as possible following incorporation.
ISEC Myanmar was incorporated as a JV Company in DICA on 8th August 2018 and was granted Myanmar Investment Commission( MIC) approval on 8th November 2018 with endorsement No (121/2018).
The Joint Venture allows the Group to take advantage of growing business opportunities in Myanmar, by expanding its existing business of operating Ophthalmology centers into Myanmar and serves as a referral Centre for the Group for complicated cases and may offer patient treatment options in Singapore and Malaysia.
