Present Appointment: Lecturer / Consultant Ophthalmologist Advanced Cataract Surgeon.

Dr. Wint Wah Hlaing was graduated from University of Medicine (1), Yangon with Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery Since 2004 and obtained Master Degree in Ophthalmology from University of Medicine (1) , Yangon in 2012. She got FICO fellowship in International Council of Ophthalmology in 2013 . She passed MRCS in ophthalmology and became a member in Royal College of Surgeon of Edinburgh. She achieved Docterate in Ophthalmology in 2018. She completed International Clinical fellowship in Advanced Cataract in Singapore National Eye Centre under the supervision of Prof Soon-Phaik Chee in 2019-2020. Her Clinical interests include cataract surgery (phacoemulsification) with premium IOLs including toric and multifocal IOLs and complex surgeries for subluxated lens or IOLs including iris and scleral fixated IOLs, capsular tension rings and segments, pupilloplasty and iridodialysis repair. Dr Wint got the special training for Femtosecond Laser Assisted Cataract Surgery from Singapore National Eye Centre.
